    對於是否主張暫緩實施新課綱，朱立倫說，他尊重教育部及朝野的意見，但希望各政黨及政治人物「把手拿開」，讓課綱回歸理性、專業與真正的歷史。他說：『(原音)我們尊重包括教育部，還有包括整個朝野的意見，但是我還是回到一個主軸，課綱的議題請各政黨、各政治人物把手拿開，大家尊重我們用客觀、理性、還有法制的方式來圓滿落幕，圓滿解決。』

    國民黨主席朱立倫1日受訪時表示，國民黨從頭到尾都不排斥開臨時會，他甚至贊成開臨時會，藉此讓課綱爭議能圓滿解決，並處理一些上會期未通過的民生法案，如此，召開臨時會才更有意義。
